You will be responsible for establishing and cultivating relationships with traders, meteorologists, trading analysts, energy professionals and key individuals in banks, trading firms, and hedge funds. The product is highly technical and so you should have either knowledge of the energy power/gas financial market or a background in meteorology. You will be expected to meet and exceed business goals within an assigned territory, selling WSI’s Energy based products to the Energy Trading market segments. Responsibilities include making customer calls, providing product demonstrations, representing WSI products at industry trade shows, participating in seminars, and visiting all top customers within the assigned territory each year.
You should be able to demonstrate a successful track record in sales using a consultative approach to winning business through building strong relationships and articulating a compelling case for services. You must also have the credibility to operate and succeed at all levels in prospect organisations with a strong commitment to customer service. Fluency in a second European language, either German or French would be an added advantage.
WSI offers an excellent package including uncapped on-target earnings, car allowance, and pension scheme. The position can be based in WSI’s offices in Birmingham or from your home in the UK or in mainland Europe near a hub airport. Extensive travel will be required and you must be eligible to work and live in the European Economic Community.
