09.10.07 - The New WSI InFlight is Now Shipping!

07.09.07 - Now Available! Pre-Orders for the New WSI InFlight

WSI recently mailed out a special mailer to all current WSI InFlight customers containing a unique voucher code to take advantage of a special transition offer and step by step instructions on how to transition to the new WSI InFlight AV-300 or AV-350. 05.08.07 - Schedule Update

We have new information regarding the expected ship date of the new WSI InFlight AV-300 and AV-350 with SIRIUS radio content. WSI expects to start shipping units this August. Due to the movement in the schedule, WSI is working with our satellite supplier to extend service on our current satellite into 2008 to provide ample time for conversions to occur.

We are expecting to mail out the voucher letter, containing detailed information on how to complete the transition, in June. We will notify all customers and dealers when the letters are dropped in the mail.

01.31.07 - Quick Update

The WSI team has received a few phone calls from customers wondering if they missed or didn’t receive the WSI voucher letter that contains all of the necessary information to complete the transition process. Please rest assured that this information has not been mailed out yet. We will notify you when it is sent out to be sure you are on alert to watch your mailbox. We anticipate that these letters will be sent out early this spring.

12.18.06 - A Quick Note About WSI & SIRIUS & Happy Holidays From WSI

Over the past few months, several questions have been raised regarding our relationship with SIRIUS Satellite Radio and we would like to take this time to clarify any confusion.

In 2006 WSI decided to seek an alternative communication solution that is more compatible with the future requirements of WSI InFlight. The SIRIUS Satellite Radio network offers improved service, a long-term commitment and the opportunity for future product enhancements. The SIRIUS network also offers a larger service reception footprint as well as access to premium Sirius Satellite Radio entertainment for our customers.

The bottom line is that WSI will now use the SIRIUS Satellite Radio network to broadcast its aviation weather content to WSI InFlight customers. While all of our customers will need to transition over to new WSI InFlight hardware to access this satellite network, WSI will continue, just as before, to lead the charge in enhancing and delivering this innovative product to the aviation community.

11.14.06 - Revised Transition Schedule

In effort to provide WSI InFlight customers with the maximum amount of time to make the transition over to the new AV300/AV350 systems, WSI has extended the current satellite service through September, 2007. To support this, we have also extended the transition offer through December 31, 2007 and are working aggressively to start shipping the AV300/350 systems in April 2007.
