Aviation Sales Manager – Asia Pacific
The Aviation Sales Manager – Asia Pacific will work directly with the Global Sales Director and be responsible for developing and growing WSI’s Aviation & Government Solutions business across the APAC region (excluding China). The ASM’s primary objectives will include: (a) successfully identifying and wining new sales opportunities, (b) effectively promoting the WSI value proposition to key airlines, airports, government and other aviation authorities, and (c) relentlessly pursuing new avenues for market penetration and business expansion. The ASM is a seasoned sales & business development manager, strong communicator, results-oriented and self-driven professional with a proven track record of selling technical solutions and structuring and closing complex business deals. |
| Lead SQA Engineer - Madison, WI
The Lead QA Engineer will work with a newly formed team of software engineers in our Madison, WI office. He/She will be the first QA role hired on this Agile focused team, and will generally shape the role of QA on the team, build the strategies, scripts and tooling that tests weather related software products for our enterprise customers. The QA Lead will also be responsible for leading QA feedback to the team and reducing risk and improving quality throughout the system. This is a hands-on role, responsible for test design, reviewing specs, seeking to improve how we work, mentoring test design/execution, and verifying the finished software. |
| Senior Aviation Meteorologist - New York
Become an important member of the WSI Aviation Forecasting team in a role as a dedicated meteorologist in support of a U.S. airline.
Extensive Aviation forecasting experience and a Meteorology or Atmospheric Science degree is required. Experience as a meteorologist in a dedicated or in direct support of airline (Part 121/135 carriers) operations is seen as a major advantage over other candidates. An acceptable alternative to direct airline experience would be experience in support of Air Traffic Control or as an airline Flight Dispatcher. The job may require some rotating shifts plus some weekend and holiday shift coverage.
